first attempt to new piano songs, and especially here she's very really comunicative with the audience, and funny
she starts with Oh My Lover
Watch it http://youtu.be/WGhsecD31AM" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
this was great - thanks!

angel* (uh huh her b side) i always thought sounds a bit like a dry era song.

30 (good fortune b side) is a bit reminiscent or earlier stuff, stripped back.

the bay (perfect day elise b side) is another

stone ( you come through b side) is very simple, just voice and guitar

that single also included a 4 track demo of who the fuck which has a drum machine beat, not reminiscent of dry or rid of me , but is a 4 track demo.

wait (when under ether b side) is actually a song from 1988 so pre-dates dry. sounds a little like that album i think.

the desperate kingdom of love from uh huh her is just guitar and voice...one of the simplest and possibly one the best.

The Whores Hustle And The Hustlers Whore from the 'stories from the city...' album is also a great song you might like .

hope you enjoy those :-)

* edited , i meant angel not bows and arrows :-)

I'm having trouble locating some of these b-sides (Angel, 30, Stone, and Wait). If anyone knows where I can find these, please PM me!

Thanks

EDIT: Actually, I found Angel, 30 and Stone - I just can't find Wait.

Haven't seen this one linked. By far the best quality playback (on my crummy p. c. anyway). Professionally made - by the Germans!

PJ Harvey August 21st, 1998 Butzweiler Hof, (Bizarre Festival), Köln (Cologne):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPTAF3t4NGQ" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
8 parts altogether.

Update - I've just found a complete version at:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehYryWzEFSk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
(Haven't tested it yet though)

Terrific performance, great tracks. She's suffering a bit though ("my hands are FREEZING!")

Heela from Dance Hall at Louse Point, which immediately followed TBYML. One of my favorites from that one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wn4QM12h0RE The live versions from the '98 performance era too (contained within some previously links, such as Black Sessions, I think).

66 Promises and Memphis from the b-sides of SFTC, SFTS. Bracingly forceful, yum. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1NKNGLqKoU and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcSkSTGrubo

No Girl So Sweet from ITD? Another one of my favorites though some people aren't fond of the production. But the force of her delivery is still there in spades. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uh3-9e2kG4o" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Not in the spirit of your request, but the slowed down live version of the above song is worth hearing for the contrast vs. the original. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vDMl9Le_no" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Possibly The Sky Lit Up from ITD? would fit your bill as well.

There is a b side called 'the faster i breathe the further i go' which is a song made on a 4 track which you may like? it was a b side on 'the wind' single.
