Yeah, I got my tickets for Paris too. Will be my eighth time that I will see PJ.

Yeah, the Belgian venue is good, but L'Olympia is a mythical place (I haven't bee nthere, don't know about the accoustics, but it's steeped in musical history).

Yes I'm agree the Olympia is mythical, You are a lucky person!!!!! I Saw her last year in Bataclan with john Parish. I'm jealous, she always goes to Paris.What happen with Madrid?????

i'm jealous to all of you who will see Polly btw. i wonder which old songs she will play. and more important - HOW?? it's always like this with the beginning of the tour, that i can't wait for the setlist and live versions are sometimes better or at least as good as originals. I think that if John Parish is with her on tour, they will probably play sth from a woman man. OMG to hear Black Hearted Love live will be blessing! i hope they will add more shows which will be suitable 4 me
And i wonder if she will play White Chalk songs and if she will, are they going to be solo performances with piano or with the band???

I think they won't as they seem to treat her solo albums and the collaboration ones with John as separated projects. They didn't play any PJ Harvey songs during the A Woman A Man Walked By tour either, did they?

they did however play some songs from Dance Hall At Louse Point during the tour (in 1998) that followed the next P J Harvey album (Is This Desire?) and that's when John Parish was also with her on tour. so the hope to hear Black Hearted Love again in 2011 is hardly unrealistic.

Wow, you are very fortunate to have seen her that many times.

Is it possible your date for Muziekcentrum is actually 1998 and not 1997? I ask because the date of this show was in doubt in the past. This uncertainty was due to a live recording's date of this show being the date of its broadcast (in 1999) and not the date of the actual performance. The gigography currently shows December 7, 1998.

You might be right, I will check my T-shirt when I am at home. Also will try to get some tickets for the upcoming Paradiso show

I've just checked the status of my Troxy tickets on seetickets & ents24, they both say the tickets were despatched 14/01/2011.
Hopefully this will mean Skinned's tickets will be safely in hand before leaving Italy for the UK.
