It could be anything, really, but judging from the content of the post I suppose it's going to be the next single announcement.
By the way, I've been regularly checking the poetry section on pjharvey.net to listen to the recorded Orlam poems, but I noticed the last one ("I Inside the Old I Dying") still doesn't play after a month. I know it's unlikley but: is that an-area related issue? Are you guys able to listen to it?

I don't think that's an area related issue, I can't hear it too. I thought it might have something to do with the fact that the poem is one of the songs on the new album, but so are 'Autumn Term' and 'Lwonesome Tonight', and they're still there.

Haha, my thoughts exactly - guarded as ever, talking around subjects, and revealing pretty much nothing apart from a few key talking points already present in the press release. Good taste in film directors, though.

Classic Pollian behaviour.
If you think about it PJ's interviews have always been redundant, most of them provide the same points and statements... right now Let England Shake Era comes to my mind... those interviews were painfully similar to one another; I blame the interviewers most of all ( with their often pathetic questions and crappy behaviour)
. Surely Polly's "hermeticism" doesn't help, but you know what? i like it this way, it makes spotting the details in every single interview fascinating. the Devil is in the details.

Since it’s already been announced that it’s a new single, doesn’t it stand to reason that the “news” mailing list subscribers will be privy to first … isn’t the announcement of the new single? And maybe something more like… tour dates?

Yes, I don’t think they’d use a (inherently niche/exclusive) fan newsletter to just announce one more track popping up on YouTube/Spotify/Apple Music, so it’s probably going to be something bigger—my bet’s on live dates and perhaps ticket presale codes/info, too.
By the way, do we have a high-res versions of the both single covers?
