from the official site:

PJ Harvey To Guest Design Francis Ford Coppola's Zoetrope: All-Story Magazine.

Polly is to guest design the upcoming Summer issue of Francis Ford Coppola's magazine All-Story. The issue will also feature previously unseen artwork, sculpture and drawings by PJ Harvey.

Francis Ford Coppola launched Zoetrope: All-Story in 1997 as a quarterly magazine to explore the intersection of story and art, fiction and film. Devoted to the best new short fiction and one-act plays, it has received every major story award, including the National Magazine Award for Fiction, while publishing some of today's most promising and significant writers: Mary Gaitskill, David Mamet, Ha Jin, Elizabeth McCracken, Yiyun Li, Don DeLillo, Andrew Sean Greer, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Margaret Atwood, Salman Rushdie, Woody Allen, Yoko Ogawa, David Means, Susan Straight, Charles D'Ambrosio, David Bezmozgis, Neil Jordan, and Haruki Murakami among them.

Zoetrope: All-Story is also an art magazine and the editors invite a different contemporary artist to illustrate and design each issue. Past guest designers include Guillermo del Toro, Tom Waits, Tim Roth, William Eggleston, Will Oldham, Zaha Hadid, Julian Schnabel, Wim Wenders, Peter Sellars, Helmut Newton, David Bowie, Gus Van Sant, Ed Ruscha, David Byrne, Kiki Smith, Wayne Thiebaud, Chip Kidd, Yves Bhar, Lou Reed, and Mike Figgis.

I had never heard of this mag, which is kind of surprising considering how long it's been out, how many well known people have been guests, and how close Zoetrope is. I have no idea where to pick up a copy though.

That's neat. I'm glad she's coming back slowly but surely.

Um. I'm going to need to get a copy of this.

Looks like you can get single copies here: http://www.all-story.com/subscribe.cgi Only 8 bucks! Special editions $15! It's the summer issue so it will probably pop up some time soon, I'd think.

Next time I'm up in Geyserville I'll have to stop into Coppola's winery and see if they carry the magazine.

Hm, Coppola's last film starred our good friend Vincent Gallo:

coincidence?

I'm sure I've never been über anything, certainly not hip. As has been shown time and time again.

yep, me too. I thought the zoetrope site did subscription only but they do single issues as well. Think they have it in the mail yet? seems to me five minutes is plenty of time

I wonder if that's Polly's work on the cover

Completely agree with you. 5 minutes is more than enough time to get it inthe mail!!!
