I have to think this is Polly at her most poetic, and now seeing the lyrics to Bitter Branches, the one song everyone seems to not really like very much...except me...wow:

Bitter branches spreading out.
There is none more bitter than the wood.
Into the white world it grows,
twisting its roots, a swarm of bees,
twisting under soldiers' feet.
Soldiers, standing in a line,
the damp earth underneath,
holding their rifles high.
Holding their young wives
with white hands.

Hold up the clear glass to see.
Hold up the clear glass and look through;
soldiers standing in formation,
the damp earth underneath,
holding their rifles high.
Their young wives, with white hands
wave goodbye.
Their arms as bitter branches
spreading into the white world.

^ I agree. For the couple I've looked at, the words on the page can stand alone. I didn't expect that.

You're wrong I love it, & I love them all, except for the last one, I know is really moving for somebody, but is my last favorite of this record

What music player will sync with my electric piano keyboard? Okay, so I connected my keyboard to my PC. It's installed and my computer recognizes it as a device in my control panel. But, None of my music players will recognize that I have it plugged in. What music player will recognize I have it plugged in?

Welcome khayola!

You should probably start a new thread about this. That way the thread title will get folks' attention.

It it's just plugged into the audio input, it depends on what the music player is capable of. It may be that unless it has recording capabilities, that it won't make the keyboard audible at all. To play a recording and hear your keyboard at the same time, you may need overdub capabilities.

"Audacity" is program that might do it, it's free for both PC and Mac.

As far as Big Guns lyrics, are you sure it's:

"I wish this night
would never end"

I'm hearing something else, something like, "Roll Back this night" or something else.
