In 2013 Rob Ellis said ‘nobody hears from him at all or knows what he’s doing. That wasn't quite true, as he appears on Spleen which was made in 1996 - so it was just seven years!

(In fact, checking, everyone appears on Spleen - John Parish, Charles Dickie, Sammy Hurden, Jess Upton ... Has anyone else here actually listened to it? Or just me?)

thank you for sharing that, can't remember if i've read it before or not. Actually, if this interview is from 2013 it would be 17 years after Spleen: so that means he hadn't spoken to Vaughan since 2003.





oh yes, i did. PJ's rarity "daddy" comes from the "soundtrack to spleen" album.

Oooh, I have never seen these! Hope Six outtakes, I assume? Where did you find them?

I was pleasantly surprised to hear that the version of "Daddy" on the Spleen album is quite a bit different from the "B-side" version. I didn't realise that before. I did try to listen to the whole album yesterday but it was hard going in places to my ears!
