The BBC have put together a series of new docs covering the history of Glastonbury festival, featuring lots of archive footage - currently available on iPlayer for the next 22 days. Jo Wiley hosted a show about Glastonbury in the 90s, which featured Polly’s performance of ‘Naked Cousin’ - nice choice, as it’s usually DBTW that gets shown from this era. It was great to see it cleaned-up a bit for this broadcast, as it’s only previously been available in lower-quality recording from the original Channel 4 broadcast. It also suggests that BBC have bought the rights to footage from 1995, which bodes well for future broadcasting of the other bits of Polly’s set - it’d be wonderful to have them available in a higher quality.

It also includes archive performances from Portishead, Björk, Radiohead, Hole, R.E.M. - good stuff! There are a few other new docs about 90s Glasto - I haven’t watched them yet but will report back if there are any other PJ clips
