Thanks Kuk (another good clip of To Talk to You): Oh Grandmother, how I miss you Under the Earth I wish I was with you to talk to you I found somebody I tried to give myself to Many times, I wanted to talk to you If I lay on the earth could you hear? If I lay Mary? Oh Grandmother Im so lonely all my life If I lay on the earth could you hear? If I lay, Mary? Polly's grandmother passed away in 2003: http://www.ianwatsonuk.com/pjharvey.html If she played The River and then To Talk To You followed by Before Departure they'd have to send in paramedics. I wish I had saved an old article that mentioned Polly(?) once recalled a live gig when they briefly brought up the house lights after a particularly grueling sequence of songs from the ITD era and essentially the entire audience was seen to have tears streaming down their faces. |

https://mega.nz/#!2AglBRiJ!unEuIAU04onHtYvCQ2M8Wqoph6rjCrwqv2a6o9MqYE0 - an audience recording from Facebook. I would mention the name, but apparently it's not ethical. Anyway, thanks to whoever recorded this! |
