coincidence?

I hope so. I've always imagined when Polly and Vincent meet up, it ends with Polly saying something like, "Yeah, hey, that's great, um... I've gotta go now..."

And, obviously, Polly's contribution to the magazine was impressive. I am almost positive that--even without my strong feelings of admiration for her--I would have considered her artwork to be the true standout in the issue.

I'm waiting for my copy, but I saw the pdf sample of the magazine on the website, and it looks great so far. I want to see her sculptures now. I agree that even with our Polly bias, it's really impressive stuff. Is there anything she can't do?

I got mine yesterday :)

It is much smaller than I imagined, but very pretty with a rustic paper cover

I just got mine yesterday, but I didn't have my computer with me, so I couldn't rave about it.

Her artwork is really varied, much like her music. Her drawings are beautiful, but have these areas that look unfinished. Maybe she just gave up on those parts, but I like to think that she prefers to focus on the parts of a drawing that are more interesting to her. From my own drawing experience, that makes sense... Either way, her artwork has a lot of energy and life.

Oh, and also...

coincidence?

I dunno if someone mentioned this earlier, but the cover art Polly did is called "The Brown Hare," or something to that effect.
Remember that movie Gallo did called Brown Bunny?

Probably a coincidence, but I felt like mentioning it.
