!!!!! I looooove the artwork! :)

Mine arrived also. There's some definite DVV influence happening, eg "On Colmer's Hill". There's also some surprisingly realistic images, like "T.E. Lawrence at Eype".

Do you suppose the text and the artwork are related? I haven't read the text yet, but the Jim Shepard piece "The Track of the Assassins" seems at first glance like it might be related to the 3 images she did: "Edvard at Eype", "T.E. Lawrence at Eype" and "The Reverend Lowman Lang at Eype". Shepard's story appears to have a lot of middle eastern references. Anyone know how those 3 subjects could be related?

Eype is a tiny village in Dorset. There must be a big radio tower there since it's in all 3 drawings.

There's also a "Head of Edward Munch" at the front (with the ever present radio tower in the background). Munch's iconic drawing is "The Scream":

The official site has a teaser:

Eype is very near where she lives, I can't verify the existence of any tower though. Maybe it signifies something else? Then there's those "waves" emanating from the church.

I'd better read it. :)

I wonder if they recorded some of the new album in the Eype church?

I found Colmers Hill, it's up by Symonsbury. It's unusual looking as it has several trees planted at the very top.

There's an amazing amount of detail in google street view. Drag the little (gold) man onto the street that goes to the beach.:

You can also drag him to pictures on the inset map.

Haven't found any radio towers yet.

I found a tower elsewhere that looked very similar, just a standard communications tower. I'll bet they're all over.

Why are the waves coming from the church instead of the radio tower?

She spells "Edward Munch" in the "Head of Edward Munch", but it's "Edvard at Eype". It's worth reading the wikipedia page about Munch.

Hi, could you write us what is in the magazine? PJ's drawing? Photos of her sculpures? Is there something else? Any photos of Polly?

There is just the one photo of PJ that's also in the teaser DrDark linked to above.

Scanning might be a problem anyway, the mag, is perfect bound, meaning it's put together like a book. opening it wide enough to scan the whole page would in many cases break the binding.

They won't ship it everywhere?
