Also , we have a good estimate of the album release date now. If the single will be officially released April 21st/ She usually releases her lead single officially about a week before the album is released. Does anybody know what instrument is playing the main melody line in the intro? 4 days, too excited to hear the full song. I know lots of people loved LES, I did too, but I think this song sounds more energetic and alive than the lead single from that album. Personally, even the live version has been one of my favorite songs ever from her and Ive been singing it for 3 months straight " Hey little children don't disappear". This version seems like its even on a whole new level, I love that instrument! It for sure sounds new and not like something she's done before at all, esp the guitar counter melody is very un PJ. Just the first minute of the song and I'm freaking addicted

Amazon Japan and Amazon US says The Wheel 7" Vinly will be released on 19 February. So maybe we don't have to wait until April  Also February makes sense considering LES but not make sense considering tour dates

I think the song will be played for us this Thursday if I'm correct, and will officially be released in April as a single. Its a little confusing, correct me if Im wrong but I think we will be hearing the full song this week. Her official twitter says they will play it on BBC6 Music on thursday at 4 Pm GMT.

Oh my goodness, the 1 min clip is astonishingly good.

It reminds me a little bit of the unreleased Peel session in which the trio played with some horn accompaniment (I believe they were from Gallon Drunk ? Please correct me if I'm wrong.) The heavy guitars with saxophone (is there brass in the mix? can't tell) is very pleasing.

I really enjoyed the live version, though I'd been hoping the studio version would have a bit more going on, and boy, I'm not disappointed. This has increased my excitement for the album exponentially. It seems to have a dense heaviness the likes of which I haven't heard in her studio work in a very long time. That being said, I should really wait to hear the full thing before I say any more.

It will be hard to wait!

I think james johnston is touring with PJ for this record too. You're right, the past three albums have been very sparse- White Chalk and Uh Huh Her especially. LES a little less so, but still pretty sparse. No problem with that whatsoever, but it's time she do with some dense instrumentation again like Stories.

We only gotta wait 2 more days I believe. Not too bad

I was referring to the BBC session where the band played 'Primed & Ticking' + 'Claudine the Inflatable One', but that's a great clip you've shared.

Oh, must be talking about this

I believe that is also Gallon Drunk.

I am really bad at sharing files on the internet. I did not have time to sign up mediafire so I tried Google Drive. I hope the link works
