Also interesting to note in this bookseller link:

"Harvey has worked on her poetry for seven years with Scottish poet Don Paterson, but this is her first published collection".

I see he's quite accomplished. Is anyome familiar with his poetry?

Polly will read poetry and perform new songs at London Literature Festival on October 9 and 10 (with a short film from Seamus Murphy also set to be screened)!! [at Royal Festival Hall.]

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/showbiz/news/a659176/pj-harvey-and-terry-gilliam-will-appear-at-london-literature-festival.html

Apparently, she has big plans for her birthday, maybe she'll even announce release of the album. And the short film, I think, may be about "Recording in Progress".

Tickets will go on sale to the public on Wednesday (July 22) at 10am. [most likely, here - http://www.southbankcentre.co.uk/whatson/festivals-series/london-literature-festival.]

Page of the event (with ticket prices): http://www.southbankcentre.co.uk/whatson/the-hollow-of-the-hand-93266.

"Joining Harvey on stage are musicians John Parish and James Johnston (of "Gallon Drunk")."

it seems they scheduled the opening show rather purposefully, with a view to staging a birthday party of sorts. we should arrange to sing for her, the audience joining in "for she's a jolly good Polly".

Woo! Got my tickets. I am very excited to see, or hear, whether she plays the song I heard her recording, and whether it sounds the same as it does in my head!

Alexa von Hirschberg, commissioning editor at Bloomsbury, said: “We always wanted to do a digital edition of the material and now the printed book is sort of done, we’re finalising content. The e-book has been designed by the same designer as the print books, [freelancer] Lizzie Ballantyne, and it’s a fixed-format electronic edition that will include audio of Polly [Harvey] reading her poetry, audio from Seamus giving background to the photography, and hopefully moving images.” Von Hirschberg added: “The limitations of the format means it will probably only be available within Apple iBooks.”

Do you guys have info on how to have this electronic edition that will include audio of Polly and Seames reading ?
maybe via iTunes?

http://www.bloomsbury.com/uk/superpage/hollow-of-the-hand/ - eBook, £13.99.

I do hope that someone technically advanced will be able to divide these audio-files from electronic edition and make them available separate from it.

http://www.ara.cat/cultura/Mick-Harvey-concert-Apolo_0_1401459914.html

From this Mick Harvey interview in catalan language (via Google translator):

"What can explain the new album by PJ Harvey who has been working?
- I have no liberty to discuss the contents of the disc, but I can tell you it's pretty amazing. I was very impressed, and I want to hear the final mixes.

There will tour with the new album by PJ Harvey?
- Absolutely. The album will be released next year and I guess we'll tour."

In the previous interview he said (based just on the recording process, I think) that "SOME OF IT" sounded very impressive, and now (when he's, apparently, heard the rough cuts) he's just impressed in general - that's a good sign, right? ))) I just hope that there's not gonna be any further delay, and "early 2016" means January or February.
