Yesterday I listened some Polly's b-sides. During Wang Dang Doodle from Man-Size single I stoped myself wondering it's me or song from single sounds better than on Peel Sessions album. I converted both tracks to WAVE and compare them in CoolEdit. Version from Peel Seesions is louder than one from single. But spectrum Track from Peel Sessions has frequencys cut at 16kHz, like 160-192 kbps mp3 file. Track from single has normal full spectrum up to 22kHz. I checked all other tracks from my Peel Sessions CD (UK version) and all tracks has frequencys cut at 16kHz. Looking at album vinyl rip from torrent I think same 'mp3' source was used for vinyl too .
