Interesting (and NEW) instrumental rendition of "To Bring You My Love" from episode 4: http://www.mediafire.com/download/scb0sm5gh11k6f1/14-pj-pB_04-02_spb.rar. There also were used regular versions of "Long Snake Moan" (twice), "Naked Cousin", "Is This Desire?" and another instrumental take on "Down by the Water".

Hmm, it's certainly good to have friends in the right places (Flood, in this case).

By the way, one could think that above all they could have use a "Nickel Under the Foot" in this series - I mean, that's a cover of the song from 1930s, so in the sense of time period it's much more relevant to the story, plus the lyrics are dark and surreal. Studio version could really use some accordion, but there's a live version from BBC, which is amazing.

I really liked the first season of Peaky Blinders and was going to watch season two anyway, but the added bonus of these often intriguing snippets of Polly bring a totally new layer to the experience! Sometimes it has been a "Wow, they chose that there?", sometimes more of an "Of course...", and wherever the music is, it enhances rather than detracts or distracts.

i believe there are 6 x 1 hr episodes in series 2 - i thought most DVD players we either sold region free or fairly simple to unlock them, quite easy on my laptop with a HDMI cable into the TV :shades:

Which are: "To Bring You My Love" (an interesting uplifting instrumental rendition, and a slightly different take on the album version), simply AMAZING version of "Catherine", very cool instrumental bit from "Working for the Man", and an AMBIENT VERSION of "C'mon Billy" (with clean vocals). All of that is here (splitted in 2 mp3s): http://www.mediafire.com/download/50pmvzo7jm6x6oi/14-pB-pj_05-20_spb-v_1.rar.

By the way, these vocals are much more soft and gentle than on the album. So it's either from some alternate take circa 1995, or maybe Polly Jean sang it again in 2014 especially for this version.
