'PJ Harvey is an English musician, singer-songwriter, composer & artist. Among the accolades she has received are the 2001 & 2011 Mercury prize for Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea (2000) and Let England Shake (2011). She is the only artist to have been awarded the prize twice. In 2011 she was awarded for Outstanding Contributions To Music at the NME Award. Harvey’s eight studio album Let England Shake (2011) received universal critical acclaim from critics. The album deals with the ongong conflict in Afghanistan. Currently Harvey is working on various visual projects with the respected photojournalist Seamus Murphy. Murphy is an award winning photojournalist who has spent over 20 years documenting conflict.'

Wow! Really recommend this for anyone who can get. A few years back I managed to see her being interviewed as part of a New Yorker magazine festival. She was interesting, witty, and responsive. On that occasion she also performed a short solo set, but no idea if this will come on the back of this event.

Wow, that's a great quote. I could have used it in my paper on "Man-Size" for Queer theory class.
