yep well aware, highly recommended disc to anyone that doesn't have it by the way, it's great. But as you said she gave it to Marianne. Would have loved to here that version with polly's vocal.

this is not meant to disparage Marianne, but frankly I would have loved to hear all those songs (that Polly wrote or co-wrote) with Polly's vocal (and The Mystery Of Love especially).

For sure, I've been listening to Faithfull since I was a kid and love her but how could anyone listen to those songs and not wonder how they would sound if Polly had recorded them.
