I think the source of the reviews that are mixed or negative is that expectation of what a political album is. I mean, I suppose its natural to desire awnsers and some closure. But that's not an artists job, and I get the feeling PJ wants us to be uncomfortable lol. I think a lot of people are just used to very basic emotions being expressed it songs, like Adele. I almost feel like this could be one of those albums that is more appreciated in 10-15 years time. Exile on Main Street, Velvet Underground and Nico. Dark and difficult albums often take some time to be fully appreciated.

What an interesting song! I wasn't exactly sure what I was expecting with this tune based on that awesome initial preview clip- but this was intensely satisfying! Such a unique rhythm happening.

Literally as soon as the song ended, my local record shop called to say the album was in! I will pick it up in a few hours. So excited.

the breathing and the crazy sax's are my favorite part, i do have the say the song is a bit "depressing". the track really does a great job of putting you into a different place though. i don't know, the song is actually making my eyes a little damp.

Uh, Spin suffers of some kind of Stereogumish lack of capacity to understand her approach
