From official site:

'we’re pleased to finally announce the release date for our album in
North America. since we started the band we’ve been waiting to start
getting our music out in the states since so many of our favourite bands
are from, and now at long last we have a home. the album will be out in
the USA and Canada digitally on October 12th plus also
available on CD and hopefully vinyl, which we all know is the best.

and yes this does mean that we’ll be coming over for some shows but more
news on that later on… we’ve been waiting about 5 years for this to
come off so we’re pretty excited right now!'

Thanks for that one, Dr.

That isn't the first time Laura-Mary has cited Polly as an influence. Laura-Mary makes her guitar sound wonderful, is utterly adorable, and a big fan of Polly. Just about the perfect woman. :-)

Interesting to know Kim Deal thinks so highly of them. They both look great, sound great; they both seem like lovely people too.

Here's an interview just posted up in the last couple of days at one of their local club/music venues:

I'm thinking about going to Oct 15. It's only $10.

The ticket I booked, for the gig I'm going to in December, was only £10. I actually asked the box office if they had that right!

Hope you decide to go, Dr.

Review of the gig they played at the Electric Ballroom, London this week:
