Thanks cat, I was at the Massey Hall show on the 10th (perfect venue for it) and was completely blown away. What an amazing performer.

Not much footage it seems but I did run accross this

You did? Wow, I was there too. Maybe it would be nice to meet up. Did you attended to the M&G session? I was there also. It was a great day for me, specially because the show. It was amazing (my first Tori show BTW, because she has never been touring in my country). :green:

I wrote this post that day after the show, in the old forum.

Hey Cat, I'll share with you some pics from the M&G taken by me and some others from the show I found later in flikr.

I had no idea M&MM! I missed those posts on the old forum. It would have been cool to meet up with someone from here! Do you travel to Toronto often?
I didn't do the M&G, stuck at work with just enough time to get home, turn around and head downtown. Would love to see the pics though.
Massey Hall is one of my favourite venues here, big enough to bring in decent acts but small enough to still feel intimate. I was with my daughter, she said she would never forget it. I had to talk her into going and by the time we left she was in love.

Can't wait to hear about it! Did get to meet her and have her sign something? She's great that way. A Christmas CD is in the works now. :)

now, anticipating my own stint on Tori's current tour, thinking what song request(s) I would like to make of her, suddenly it occurs to me that perhaps I ought to ask her to do a cover: why not a song authored by Polly Harvey? which Tori (to my knowledge) has never done, so this is begging the question: which particular PJ song would you prefer Tori to play? I invite you to express your opinions here.

Good idea! Not sure she would know it off by heart but I'd like to see Tori do "Plants & Rags". :)

good suggestions, all of them, except that it needs to be emphasized that my question was: which Polly-authored song should be performed by Tori - but the other way around: which Tori song ought to be covered by Polly, that's no less interesting.

I stick to my old fantasy of both ladies doing a gig by switching songs: Polly picks five (or ten, or twelve) Tori songs, Tori selects the same number from Polly's catalogue - the result would be interesting!
