I had no idea!

I was introduced to her through the Muppet Show.

I've just realised that clip is from 'Stormy Weather'. Here's the Nicholas Brothers' incredible routine - with Cab Calloway at the start of clip - from the same film.

Fred Astaire called this the greatest dance number ever filmed. Yes, it's bloody wonderful. They have a novel way of coming down the staircase...
