Edit: note that in spite of the file name and the web page with the download, the correct date is 1992-11-27, NOT 1992-07-01. I remember we sorted this out once before. See the gigography.

See my edits above for the correct date for this boot. Does anyone know what the actual story is for the bonus tracks (15 & 16)? There is no KPFK in 1991-1993 according to the gigography. Googling found this:

BTW, the "Scuptress" mix referred to was torrented on dime last year. It's still there.

Since KPFK is located in North Hollywood, CA, I think its safe to assume that <<"Rid Of Me"* & "Dress"*>> were recorded two days prior (11/25) to 11/27's Cabaret Metro performance. Most of Polly's radio sessions are recorded on either the day of or the day after the concert. This session may have been recorded on 11/26. Or this KPFK session may have been recorded sometime in Aug '92. Perhaps the 18th. What I do know for sure is there is no way it was recorded anytime prior to Aug '92, because this

was her first venture to the U.S.A. in support of "Dry". She had never been to the states before this. Perhaps someone could contact KPFK and ask them if they have some kind of documentation of Polly's session back in '92. Its possible they may know the exact date, or its possible they may rebroadcast it if someone draws their attention to it. LOL!

I never did hear anything from kpfk, but tonight I stumbled across this (b-sides and live show, mp3) torrent which lists the kpfk gig as "25.11.92":

So I think 1992-11-25 is the best guess since the gigography shows:

Most likely whoever upped the torrent lifted the info from this very thread. LOL! But anyhow I think its correct. Like you said, best guest.

I've corrected the mp3 tags.

It's funny that even Blandford's 2006 biography (page 190) shows this boot as "Jul 1, '92" with the last 2 tracks from KPFK with no date specified.

He also shows the Blue Girl (Mayan Club) boot as being from 1995-05-17, but with the tracklisting from 1995-05-18.

I wonder if he ever checks in here? He has to know about this site by now. If he ever shows himself, we should start a sticky thread for corrections for his 3rd edition.
