the only drawback about that TV show is that the producers thought to improve the setlist by rearranging the order of the songs.
but hey, track 01 - "Introduction", what is that precisely? something that's not present in my version? or is this merely the opening page with PJ on stage appearing through the big letters appearing across the screen? |

This is an audio version only and the introduction is just radio gibberish. |

so this is an exact replica of the TV broadcast, but without the video? how extraordinary; because I believe that there was also a radio broadcast featuring the full-length concert (or was that one edited too)? |

The poster of this torrent says that if s/he has more time he might post the video too.
It's a good thing that there are several sources for these, but it also gets confusing. Which is the best, which is the most complete. Is the '98 Orange Bizarre that has an interview afterwards? One version has no interview, one has the whole interview and one has the interview CUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF POLLY'S FIRST REPLY.
What were they thinking? |

I had no idea about this interview, so I'm really grateful you told me here. evidently my version of the Orange boot CD is without the interview (alas); but now that I know of its existence, I simply must have it (to hear it).
which is the best... why, the most complete, obviously (no matter what the matter is). |

Well, I was relying on my memory, it may have been a different show - sorry. It's from the same period though, Polly is outside on the grass, in her leather coat I believe. Maybe I'll have time to check on this later.
*Nope sorry, memory was out of gear. I'm thinking of something else entirely. The point was just that there are different versions of shows, if there was an interview after this show I'd like to see it too! |

There is video of this gig. It is part of the Newrose compilation bootleg DVD of Polly's 2001 European gigs ("Places in Time). Here's a screenshot:
The 11 DVD tracks are the same and in the same running order as the mindwarppavillion audio torrent tracks.
What's confusing is that there is also a set of 14 audio tracks of this gig which are a slightly different subset of the 22 tracks shown by the gigography (there are tracks that are only in the DVD list and tracks that are only in the 14 track list). I only have the 14 tracks as mp3s. The 14 track list running order is different and is also not even remotely close to the gigography running order! Scottish Mike over in atforumz recently posted a link to mp3s of them:
http://www.atforumz.com/showthread.php?t=305064
It's incorrectly labeled there as "01.02.2001 The Paradiso Amsterdam" (should be "28.02.2001"). I've compared a track that's common between the two (Whore's Hustle) and they are indeed the same. These 14 tracks don't include interviews with PJ and are unmolested. Very high quality capture from an FM broadcast.
Man what I'd give to have the entire gig (all 22 tracks) on DVD. Take a listen to 'Beautiful Feeling' or 'Angelene'! |
