it was recorded in 1999 for the millennium awards; she played it live. and if you didn't know, it's a bob dylan cover I believe it was just broadcasted on Channel 4. if you go here http://www.pollyharvey.co.uk/ then to compilations and scroll down a bit. |

Ah yes, 1999 was slightly (slightly!) before my Polly time. Good to know though. Thanks |

*wonders how they do low fives in Ohio*
Hey, on an unrelated note, mizz yarnforhair - I always wondered why I can't see what's intended to be seen in your "signature".
All I see is this :
<a href="http://www.postimage.org/" target="_blank"><img src="http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/9791/56475634.png" border="0" alt="Free image hosting powered by PostImage.org"></a>
Whereas when I look at the url , it should be this :
Which is just soooo much more appealing.
Is everyone else seeing just text, or is it only me for some reason??? |

It's probably only you.
You need to turn on HTML. It's in your profile.
I should note in the other thread too, but in the new forum HTML is not allowed. |

I'm so sorry you haven't been privileged enough to see it til now, but happy that you finally know what it is I sure do like it. I'm impatiently waiting for a new photo to add. |

I never had HTML turned on either!
Does anyone have any idea who exactly was in the band that backed Polly when she sang Shot of Love at this show? It was at an odd time: after ITD and before Stories. |

Bloody Hell, I got excited then. I thought the video had been found, finally.
Thanks to Romario11 for the image of what she was wearing for the 'Shot of Love' performance. I always thought it was a white suit like the one worn at the Eden Project gig. But both our memories are dodgy!...
